“Whether it’s social media strategy, video editing or branding Jules is THE person you need.

I’ve worked with Jules for over 6 years and she’s a joy to work with, brimming with creativity and always goes the extra mile.

Jules is a rare mix of being highly creative but also impeccably organised at the same time. She’s a skilled at spotting the unique angle for each social media audience and a talented video editor. She has managed to find the best solutions for even the trickiest of client requests – aceing it every single time. No matter what I needed to throw at her – from designing exhibition stands to Instagram gifs, branding tool kits and promotional goodies, to email marketing that drive the traffic we needed – Jules always exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t recommend Jules more highly, she’s amazing.”

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

My method has combined harnassing emotion, data and constant experimentation to learn everything I can about each audience. Upon joining a team, I learn from their hard work so far with the analytics to create a staged social media strategy bespoke to the organisations objective. Examples of objectives I have met:

Channel Mum

Objective

Grow the audience—starting from zero!

Increase awareness of their campaign messaging

Meet individual KPIs for their brand collaborations.

Outcome

+ 200K Facebook

+ 100k Instagram

+ 300k YouTube

Award winning mental health campaign

Repeat bookings from Pampers, Disney, Benefit, Iceland and more.

The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation

Objectives

Increase awareness and support of their campaigns for change

Increase engagement

Increase donations

Outcome

Secured over 40,000 organic views and 1,000 clicks within 48 hours of launch.

284% increase in followers.

Over 300% increase in engagement.

Reels views up 170%.

Both platforms grew at a higher rate than the foundation’s nearest competitors.

Collaboratively raised £2.5 million for life-saving research.

I set up their Facebook fundraising features, and we raised over £2,500 in the first campaign.

Break

Objective

Reverse the trend of declining followers and re-estabish growth.

In 2023, raised more than the previous year’s Christmas campaign.

Outcome

Within the first month of my strategy this was reversed and the audience has increased every month since.

The Christmas campaign 2023 beat the all time record for donations and reach.

Following the contract for three new children’s homes in Suffolk, recruited 40 new team members. I led a paid social media strategy across Meta, LinkedIn, and Google, successfully filling all vacancies. I also supported the recruitment team in optimising their Networx recruitment ads, improving organic traffic.

Objective

Meet set KPI’s for traffic to their fostering website pages and recruiting foster carers

Outcome

We are ahead of the target for the year so far, due to the paid social media campaign.

EMAIL MARKETING

I design emails that truly connect with audiences. By implementing automated journeys that educate, nurture, and retain, subscribers become more engaged with the brand and are primed to take action.

Through audience segmentation and A/B testing, I tailor each campaign to meet audience needs, empowering teams for greater impact and time prioritisation.

At Break, I introduced email marketing to the wider team and streamlined sign-up processes, growing the subscriber list by 800% and boosting monthly sign-ups.

Alongside a similar strategy at NARF, I also optimised existing blog content and engaged in community outreach to bring fresh stories to the platform, guiding new visitors seamlessly from content to key conversion points.

With a strong understanding of data protection, I’ve identified and improved processes to safeguard organisations, balancing security with user experience to minimise risk while maintaining engagement.

“Working with Jules was an invaluable experience for our foundation. As a mother and founder navigating a deeply personal mission in Natasha’s memory, it was crucial for me to find someone who not only understood the technical side of digital communication but could also capture the heart of our mission. She not only improved our Mailchimp practices and subscriber rates but also created a true sense of community within our emails, encouraging action when we needed it most. Jules became my trusted advisor on all things digital, translating our heartfelt conversations into messages that deeply resonated with our audience and supported our mission every step of the way.”

VIDEO PRODUCTION

Video storytelling is central to my approach. I am grateful to YouTube for choosing me for their talent programme to train in video production, following my training in video editing and animation in Soho. Below you’ll find examples of series, campaign videos, and brand collaborations that use emotion, pacing, and platform know-how to boost engagement and spark action. My week-by-week pregnancy series has brought Channel Mum millions of views (and thousands in ad revenue), along with a very engaged community.

With almost eight in ten of the site’s users reporting anxiety issues, we created a free-to-access, influencer-led ‘Overcoming Anxiety’ course. Influencer Sophie Mei Lan’s raw and hard-hitting footage of her having a panic attack on film while her children played in the background opened up the series as an “icebreaker” to draw attention to the course and reassure viewers they were in a safe place to discuss their own experiences and seek help. The further eight-part expert led course, weaving in real stories, covered all aspects, from seeking help to ongoing recovery.

“Jules has the unusual but highly effective ability to see a project through a 360 degree lense. She can consolidate 3 key elements into a plan 1) what your key messages are, with 2) how they will resonate with your audience 3) be clear on an effective call to action.

In the noisy, busy world of social media, if you cohesively weave these 3 elements together, your campaign will be successful and your money will be well spent.

Julia is creative, thoughtful, efficient, talented and proficient. If you need help with your social media strategy – or any element of it – and Julia comes across your path, then I strongly recommend you scoop her up!”

GRAPHIC DESIGN

As a creative professional with experience working alongside organisations in their early stages, I’ve often worn many hats, including developing graphic design skills to meet a wide range of needs. Visuals are essential in digital marketing, and I approach each design with the individual objective in mind. From social media graphics to branded merchandise, developing branding kits and exhibition stands, the examples below showcase a a small sample of my work.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Effective project management is essential for turning strategy into results and fostering a cohesive, efficient team. When I joined my current role, there was no project management system in place, leading to missed deadlines and a stressed team. I successfully pitched and implemented Monday.com, establishing structured processes and training the team. Within weeks, we had organised the backlog, reduced team stress, prioritised tasks, and they now consistently meet deadlines. Alongside project management, I’m also experienced with social media scheduling and data analysis tools, including Hootsuite, Buffer, and Loomly, which support streamlined, data-driven social strategies. I’m passionate about creating organised workspaces that support each team member, including our valuable neurodiverse colleagues, ensuring our processes work for everyone and drive meaningful progress. I have taken this further, currently studying Google Project Management professional certificate.
